Today’s my first day back in Portland, after eleven absolutely dreamy days spent abroad. I wandered Parisian streets for three magical days, before taking the train into London for the rest of our trip.
I must mention this was my second time in Paris and my fifth in London. I was happy to visit Paris in 2012, but the uncertainty of whether I’d ever be back did not bother me, at all.. Something about the city did not click back then.
This time around, despite doing a whole lot of tourist activities -we visited the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur, Notre Dame, Musée du Louvre, Palais Garnier, Champs-Élysées, among others- our walk in the streets of Montmartre and the sunset at The Seine were unbeatable. I would go back to Paris right this second if I could, it was the perfect place to forget the routine, eat bread, drink wine and not worry about a thing.
Sharing some Parisian magic, as I got a tiny window to process some of the photos from the first leg of our trip. I daydream of going back...
